What personality type is Joseph Joestar? Joseph Joestar is an ESTP personality type in MBTI, 7w8 - sp/so - 782 in Enneagram, SCUAI in Big 5, ILE in Socionics.
Okay, I'll admit, I voted him ENTP before cause I was kinning him 😂 Jokes aside, after thinking about it and watching part 3 my opinion has changed. I'm going to mainly focus on his Ni. He doesn't use it in the stereotypical "magical deep INFJ wizard" or "INTJ who can see the future and will ruin you" sense. His use of Ni is much more practical. Se and Ni work together on an axis, no matter where they are in the stack. I'm not saying his Ni is going to be fantastic, but it does work with Se. This is clear in fight scenes. He makes perceptions based on what is happening right there in the moment, an then uses those perceptions to predict what his enemy will say or do. This is a perfect example of Se-Ni. Ne makes predictions too, but it happens in a different way. Ne takes one idea and branches out from it, so an Ne dom would be more inclined to think of every possible thing the enemy could say/do and be ready to act accordingly. Ni, on the other hand, takes multiple ideas and boils them down to one, or the essence. To simplify: Ne is what could happen, Ni is what will happen. When you consider this, Joseph clearly uses Ni. It's overshadowed by his Se a bit, but it is there and it's helping him bamboozle his enemies. I would also be open to considering ISTP, but I'd have to hear a good argument.
Biography
Joseph Joestar (ジョセフ・ジョースター Josefu Jōsutā) is the main protagonist of part 2 and an ally in part 3 and 4. He is the 2nd JoJo of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series. Joseph is a natural-born Ripple user and eventual Stand user, wielding the psychic photographic Stand, Hermit Purple. Joseph meets the fantastic threats approaching him throughout his life with initiative and impressive ingenuity, battling Vampires, the Pillar Men, and malevolent Stand users. He is the second most recurring JoJo in the series after his grandson Jotaro Kujo and is one of its most well known characters.
