My experience in this space: What people see is: Anyone who shows the littlest amount of care about others is using Fe. Anyone who manipulates is using Fe. Anyone who cares about human being and the world is using Fe. Anyone who worries about others is using Fe. Anyone who can read minds is using Fe. Anyone who falls in love is using Fe. Anyone who understands others' feelings is using Fe. Anyone who can sympathize is using Fe. Anyone who can't kill people is using Fe. Anyone who kills people is using Fe. Anyone who uses other people to fulfill his purposes and wishes is using Fe. Anyone who has good relationships with other people is using Fe. Anyone who likes to cook for others is using Fe. Anyone who loves babies is using Fe. Anyone with a little bit loyalty or devotion is using Fe. All doctors or psychiatrists or psychologists are using Fe. All serial killers are using Fe. All kind people are using Fe. Anyone who needs help or needs someone to be with is using Fe. Someone wants to work hard to help his parents and people are like: "Wow. He is using Fe." -... I have a question for you. What exactly do you think Fi is? You think Fi is just sitting at a corner and crying? Or keep quiet and draw some pictures of nature and then crying again? Not talking to anyone or not be interested in any kind of relationship? Or maybe being selfish and act like "I feel bad. Let's not do it." or "I feel good about this. Go for it."? You think a person who feels others' pain or who can sympathize or who cares about others or he has good relationships can't be using Fi? And also Te. That's even worse. Anyone who can think is using Ti. Anyone with a plan is using Ti. Anyone who has a deep personality is using Ti. Anyone curious about the world is using Ti. Anyone that looks like a scientist or a philosopher is using Ti. Anyone who solves riddles or creates them is using Ti. So what exactly do you think Te is? It's not hard at all to mention Hannibal's Ni-Te-Fi if you just stop typing people like what I said and begin to know the functions better. He is using Ni as his dominant function all the time. He plays with ideas, patterns, deep meanings. He is looking towards the future. He is not like a typical Ni user because he acts like a well-mannered and a very very polite person. Because he has developed his Te which is his extroversion function. All INTJs can do that only if they want to even if it is a little hard. He uses his intuition and his knowledge that he gained within his inner deep world by having a deep look into the mind and psychology world (Ni) and then he shares it with other people and the outer world (Te) to help make an inner peace for himself and to answer to his instincts (Fi). I am an INTJ. And honestly I care so much about what people think of me and how they see me. I try hard to develop my Te and I really like my acts and lifestyle to be admired and I like to have influence on others. I wanna be perfect in every aspect of my life and I think that's how Hannibal thinks too. He has made a perfect version of himself even if that is not completely real. And he did it with developing and using his Te in any effort that it takes. Because he likes to be admired. He doesn't invite people to his house, cook for them or psychoanalyze them only because he is a psychiatrist or because he likes people and he doesn't do it automatically. Actually he does it intentionally just to make an influence on all of them and enjoy the environment that he creates by his intelligence and his personality. Showing his Ni by using Te. And that is all because his instincts tell him to do so. Just watch the show and see how many times he talks about god and his gifts to human being as an instinct or power or talent. To me that's a very good example of tertiary Fi for an INTJ. INTJs use their tertiary Fi mostly as a reason and a reaction to their actions. Like when we feel a little bit guilty for what we did but we don't want to undo it. Or like when we have some strong feelings that we must take a risk which we don't like at all. But the Fi can win. Or like when some of us show some narcissism. Because we have a little trouble with maybe not well developed Te or depression or for some of us we have well-developed Te but we feel like we need a lot more attention than we get. And this kind of attention that we want is not like what celebrities or movie stars have. We want attention to the way we think and to our talents. Hanninal wants that too. That's why he creates his crime scenes like a masterpiece. That's what Tobias did too and he was an INTJ too. It is all because of tertiary Fi. Tertiary Fi is called tertiary function. But it is a lot more than that. At least to me it is. And it makes me be able to recognize anyone with the same inner struggle like myself. You see? I'm somehow psychoanalyzing characters without using Fe. What you need is a little bit of knowledge in that field. Hannibal does that too.
