At the end of season two when Will betrays him, Hannibal did not see this coming. He had everything planned perfectly, he believed Will would chose him. He relies so heavily on his intuition and his hunches, so when Will betrays him he’s shattered because this didn’t fit the future he saw. He is clearly Ni dominant, where is Fe? Just because he knows how to read people and can easily manipulate people doesn’t mean he’s an Fe user. He does everything for his own interest, and his connection and “love” for Will has to do with his Fi, as he believes Will understands him. Tied to his Fi there is this need to be understood, it’s all about his feelings not the feelings of those around him. He manipulates Will not for Wills benefit but for his own, how is this Fe?This is a clear example of Fi in an INTJ. Also, remember this is a middle aged man, he can have well developed functions other than his Ni. His use of Te is clear, as he uses the information he gathers for a specific goal. Take for example, his Rolodex of business cards, he keeps the cards of people who are rude to him and then goes back to kill them when it’s convenient for him. He’s using this information to complete a goal as opposed to TI which takes in information for subjective matters than a specific goal. Just because he gets things done, doesn’t mean that he doesn’t have inferior Se, you all act like Se is the only cognitive function that can take action, and he still uses Se regardless he just doesn’t rely on it as much because he trusts his intuition that greatly. He uses his Se a lot sure, but he is a grown man with developed functions. Just because he is a killer and a cannibal doesn’t negate the fact this is all in service of his Ni. He eats people because by cooking the rude and eating them he is elevating them. His Se serves his Ni, and where do y’all even see tertiary Ti? I am at a complete loss for how any of you see ENFJ, it’s just not realistic, he is an INTJ for sure.
