What personality type is Dale Horvath? Dale Horvath is an ENFJ personality type in MBTI, 1w2 - sp/so - 126 in Enneagram, RCOAI in Big 5, EII in Socionics.
I’m glad hes no longer e5, but one still doesnt make sense. Let’s take a look at trait structure Passion: type ones have the passion of anger, this means theyre often grappling with anger issues and are prone to blowing up since theyre often trying to control it and bottle it up unsuccessfully. This results in very rigid body movements and personality, both of which don’t apply to Dale. The most anger we ever see from dale is when he looks at shane in disapproval. Type twos however have the passion of pride, this manifests in an entitlement to interfere with peoples lives and a belief that they “know whats best” it also causes them to refuse any help themselves. Does this sound familiar? This is his entire arc with Andrea, he tries to make choices with her because he feels that he knows better, his sense of pride led him to believe this was something morally acceptable. Instead it led to Andrea having to die a painful death instead of a peaceful one. I love Dale as a character and I’d be really happy for him to be a type one, but putting my bias aside it’s clear that he’s not. I really wish people would follow trait structure and not vote based off of stereotypes and type descriptions.
