What personality type is Negan Smith? Negan Smith is an ENTP personality type in MBTI, 8w7 - so/sx - 873 in Enneagram, SCUEI in Big 5, SLE in Socionics.
(Keep in mind that I haven't watched The Walking Dead in years, so this analysis is reliant on my memory... also, this may contain spoilers) Here is my argument toward Negan being an ENTP. Negan has this sort of charisma that The Governor lacks, and he's more spontaneous. The similarity is that Negan has an entire group of people who work for him, and The Governor governs a whole town of people (those people are under his rule). They're both "leaders," in a way. The ENTJ is a leader type. As I recall, Negan goes after Rick because Rick refuses to work for him (correct me if I'm wrong). The Governor goes after Rick because he wants ownership of the prison (to expand his town). The Governor wants territory, while Negan wants people who are indebted to him and will be obedient to him. So basically, The Governor wants to control LAND, while Negan wants to control PEOPLE. That's their difference, desire-wise. The Governor doesn't necessarily target Rick individually. It's just that Rick is in control of the prison, so he's in his way. Negan targets people themselves, though. Negan is creepy because he's not strictly immoral. He's unpredictable. He clearly has this deeper understanding of people/how they function (due to Fe). The Governor, though, seems to be undoubtedly immoral, and he lacks Fe. You know what he'll do next, as well. The Governor literally keeps his zombie daughter locked in his basement or something, and has a collection of people's heads. He's more sentimental. People with Fi, I would say, are more sentimental. That's also a Si thing, but Negan has inferior Si. So, Negan wants to create an empire of sorts of people who are on his side. The Governor, in contrast, wants to create a big town of people, so they can live peacefully. He incorporates some nefarious things into this town, though, such as using zombies as a form of entertainment/using people as prey for them. Because, as I stated, he is not morally sound.
