why I actually think he's an E4 and not an E6: Credence's wand is made of ebony wood, which is clearly not an arbitrary detail. in fact, I believe every minor detail that JKR adds eventually becomes very crucial to the storyline, lol. on the Wizarding World site, JKR writes: "Ebony is happiest in the hand of those with the courage to be themselves.
