What personality type is Nanami Touko? Nanami Touko is an ENFJ personality type in MBTI, 3w2 - so/sx - 317 in Enneagram, SLOAI in Big 5, LSE in Socionics.
Because unlike ENTJ, ENFJ actually understands people. And ENFJs like attention... more. And ENFJs lack the sense of identity that all Te or Fi users have. They have no idea who they are because that's the cost of having empathy. or the cost of being "empty" as she calls it. They feel and understand others but they never have any feeling of their own. Touko clings onto her love for Yuu as a part of her identity. Throughout the majority of the series (haven't finished reading yet, as of this post) she has always wanted to become the mental image of her sister. She deals with being "fake". She hated it when Yuu said people would love her for herself because she hates herself. Her lack of identity and people-pleasing is what makes her ENFJ.
Biography
Externally, Touko is an extremely self-assured and dependable, outgoing, approachable, incredibly determined, and even stubborn girl when it comes to achieving her goals – once she sets her sights on something, nothing and nobody can dissuade her. However, beneath appearances, Touko obsessively hides all of her weaknesses and insecurities from everyone, meaning that she has nobody to confide in and no real bonds with the people who surround her. She conceals any sign of uncertainty behind a self-confident veneer, and her immense feelings of loneliness and isolation beyond an extroverted facade. The perception that she can do anything she sets her mind to means that she feels immense pressure to never fail or falter.
