Sure she can be toxic.... but I think people seem to be forgetting that she clearly has abandonment issues, depression, and a reduced effect. She was sent to erricson for seemly that very reason, and seeing a member of her family kill herself as a kid is enough to break the psyche is multiple ways. She felt betrayed by Marlon for his deception, betrayed by clem if she "abandons" her by choosing Louis; she also seems to feel like she betrayed Sophie and Minnie by getting Brody to cover for her the day they were sent away. The whole situation makes it very clear that it's a build up of multiple issues even before clem arrived at the school
Biography
Violet, also referred to as Vi, is the determinant tritagonist in Telltale Games' The Walking Dead: Season Four. She is a fisher and supply runner for Ericson's Boarding School and the former girlfriend of Minerva. Following the death of the original leader, Violet became the de-facto leader of the boarding school for a short while up until the attack on the school by a group of soldiers from the Delta where she is determinately replaced by Clementine.
