Elijah Wood MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Elijah Wood? Elijah Wood is an ENFP personality type in MBTI, 9w1 - so/sp - 946 in Enneagram, SCUAI in Big 5, IEI in Socionics.

It seems the internet is split between categorizing him as an ISFP and an ENFP. There are also claims of him being INFP or ESFP but, in my opinion, these fall on the extremes of Introversion and Extraversion, respectively, while Elijah seems to be more of an ambivert. So, here is my reasoning behind ENFP. The main difference is how much more outwardly considerate ENFPs are. It is very important to them to appear as kind, caring people. In one interview, Elijah said his biggest pet peeve was people being inconsiderate of others. Secondly, I definitely see why people might classify him as an introvert. He’s private and not nearly as extroverted as many actors, but I don’t think many would often classify him as quiet or reserved. In addition, ISFP has dominant Fi function which I don’t think fits Elijah well. ISFPs score low on openness to new experiences. Elijah is extremely open to new experiences: his music and film taste is very unconventional and he has stated several times that he loves trying new foods. This is characteristic of ENFP. Finally, as I stated at the beginning, he seems to be quite ambiverted and ENFPs are often considered the most introverted extroverts, probably due to their Fi aux function which also makes sense with Elijah’s strong moral compass. Though, hearing talk about how shy he is with women (https://www.angelfire.com/celeb2/elijahw/ElijahSpeaks.html) doesn’t track with ENFP’s known flirtatious nature. Anyways, I’m new to personality typing, just a big fan of Elijah :) Excited to hear what you all think!
