Yellow Guy MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Yellow Guy? Yellow Guy is an INFP personality type in MBTI, 9w1 - sx/sp - 972 in Enneagram, SLUAI in Big 5, IEE in Socionics.

(SPOILERS) I'm here to do this character justice and explain why the E9 consensus is absolutely ridiculous, ESPECIALLY in comparison to Red Guy, an actual 9. Passion - Fear The passion of fear is born out of not knowing who to trust, and constant skepticism or doubt even of one's own thoughts. Yellow Guy is consistently afraid and doubtful of the unsettling circumstances he is put in, being surprisingly perceptive despite his seemingly low intelligence (excluding episode 6). Compare this to Red Guy, who often times is unfazed and apathetic, wanting to do whatever is most convenient. Yellow Guy sees the danger, but is too doubtful to be completely sure, leading him to look outward for his suspicions to be confirmed or denied. A few examples being when Duck was addressed as David upon his supposed "death", actively recognizing the problem, but due to Red Guy's indolence, he is left in the dark and cannot be backed up. In episode 3, he is visibly confused and uncomfortable after a certain point, questioning where "the other guy" (Red Guy) went, but receiving no answer. Fixation - Cowardice Cowardice can manifest in two ways, either as phobia or counterphobia. The phobic Six becomes dependent on others to stay safe and avoid danger, while the counterphobic Six attempts to eradicate danger and go on the offensive against danger. Yellow Guy is obviously a phobic Six, as he is dependent and easily influenced because of his fear. He is known for being quite impressionable, and tends to overly trust those that he can feel safe around, which is a problem with phobic Sixes. Compare this to the fixation of indolence, which is an ignorance to problems and adversity in the hopes that the Nine won't have to deal with it. This is absolutely not at all like Yellow Guy, and further proves how much Red Guy contrasts Yellow Guy in terms of personality. Trap - Security Security as an ideal that can manifest in a variety of ways, through a tangible or even abstract concept in order to make the Six believe they are secure. It is a trap, because what they chase after for security will not make them feel secure permanently. Yellow Guy becomes attached to his home and being apart of that little clump of people he would call a group of three friends. When Stain Edwards, The Forever Boy assimilates into the group, replacing Duck, he panics and immediately becomes upset, and he is typically fond of just being home where it's safe, which is expressed the most in episode 5. I remember he says something along the lines of "We can't just leave, this where we are". Holy Idea - Holy Faith Holy Faith is when the Six stops doubting themselves, and as a consequence, can find security and faith within themselves. In episode 6, when Yellow Guy gets his batteries replaced, he suddenly becomes more aware not only of the world around him, but himself, which leads to a conversation with himself in the mirror that is instrumental to his typing as a Six. He comes to a realization that really illustrates him as a Six, saying "Well, maybe they aren't in control of me anymore". This aligns with the dilemma Sixes tend to have with being controlled, but more specifically, it is a phobic Six developing faith in themself, and embracing independence. Tritype: 694 Triads: 6-9: Attachment; 6-4: Reactive; 9-4: Withdrawn. These triads are the most accurate. He definitely has enough aspects of E9 to have a strong fix, but definitely not enough for it to be his core. I don't understand the votes for 2 in his emotional center, since he displays no signs of pride, instead having moments of introjection and emotional reactivity that serve to make him even less confident in himself. His 4 fix manifests mostly as him beating himself up and being somewhat dramatic in negative scenarios, though this is the least prominent aspect of his character, compared to Red Guy, who I think has his 4 fix second. Thanks for reading, and Happy Birthday.
