I understand and respect the ENTP votes. But I think Healy has Fi. Contrast him with true ENTPs like Father John Misty or Healy’s own hero David Foster Wallace, who are arguably just as focused on morality if not moreso. Their sense of morality is arrived at logically using observations and external social expectations (Ti-Fe), giving them that irreverent sense of objectivity that ENTPs have. They create a persona, but the closer you look the harder it is to tell when they’re kidding. This is not the vibe I get from Healy, who willingly chides himself for his wrongdoings and makes criticisms of others in relation to how he feels, even as he makes spicy observations about the world and people around him. His moral point of view is seated in his personal identity and feelings about it, even when he tries to make it about all of us. His musical explorations are innovative and futuristic but logic-free, chasing whatever vibes Healy’s emotions call for, rather than a calculated effect. He’s a very intellectual and witty ENFP who shares many of of the same interests as ENTPs, and the distinction can get very subtle, but I see a developed Fi instead of Fe.

The 1975 are an English pop rock band from Manchester, consisting of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Matthew "Matty" Healy,lead guitarist Adam Hann, bassist Ross MacDonald, and drummer George Daniel.The band's origins trace to their attendance at Wilmslow High School in Cheshire and playing together as teenagers in 2002. Gigs organised by a council worker led the band to formally sign as the 1975. Their choice of name was inspired by a Jack Kerouac beat poetry book. They eventually signed a record deal after their success with Dirty Hitand Polydor Records.
