I would argue he is almost an archetypical INTJ, hence very clearly not ISTJ. This is barely worth a discussion in my opinion. Highly intellectual, consideres all sorts of future scenarios and the big picture, values innovation and new ideas very highly and thinks beyond commonly held perceptions of society, he is a visionary and fascinated by revolutionary and antitraditional ideas like replacing the US Dollar (Paypal) or live forever, has a typical interest in science fiction like a lot of INTJs, he is a libertarian (like a lot NTs, and very few ISTJs) etc. etc.
