What personality type is Shim Su-ae? Shim Su-ae is an INFP personality type in MBTI, 9w1 - sx/so - 926 in Enneagram, RLUAI in Big 5, IEI in Socionics.
I want to give my two cents on the arguments Fi-Ne vs Ne-Fi. In the case of So Ae, I believe she is INFP than ENFP. Her Ne is just to support her Fi in the major events. Here's why 1) Fi-Ne > Ne-Fi She imagines things or creates what-if situations based on what she believes in (Generating possibilities from Fi). In the earlier chapters, she was so stuck with the idea to get love from Mino (her ex-boyfriend). Her perceiving/imagination based on what she feel for the situation and her belief that Minu will get jealous by her operations. If she is Ne-Fi, I believe she will first create a wide range of possibilities such as like the possibilities of Minu didn't like her again or getting love from another person, like Eunhyuk. Especially when Eunhyuk starts to give a little bit of sympathy for her situation. This's because ENFPs perceiving/imagination not constrict just from what she believes/feels (Ne-dom). The judgement will come later using Fi (Fi-aux). Moreover, I believe if she was an ENFP, she is more easily to create more ideas, especially when facing the situation where she's no longer getting respect from her boyfriend. 2) Fi-Ne-Si > Ne-Fi-Te I think why is she stuck with getting love from Mino or troubled to get out of the relationship cause she has higher stack Si than Te. She remembers her memories with her now-ex and believes that she can get that affection again (or at least the feeling of jealousy). She believes more in her experience than outside opinions. Unlike INFPs, ENFPs will more likely to come up with new idea and jump to it. Especially, ENFPs are more open-minded than INFPs(thanks to their dominant Ne), so they are prone to take outside opinions and take consideration (alongside with their values) from that. 3) Si > Te Isn't the whole idea of cheating is more likely came from someone who using more Si than Te? Te : Observe objectively! He not longer have any feeling toward you. It's not logical or effiecient to use that trick. Compared than: Si : He treated me right in my memories. I believe he still have hidden feelings toward me. So, faking cheating is easier to add love point. Even her Si is high, her Ne is definitely more higher though. She using her Ne more easily in the way that she easily generates what-if ideas and connect her situation to analogy. In the summary: Her feeling is finally fading out, because of her own perception of her experience, not because any other characters can convince her (Fi-Si >> Ne-Te). And she stuck with the idea is getting love from her ex-boyfriend who everyone can tell that he treats her like a **** (Fi > Ne). Then, she generates plans from that idea (Ne support Fi). She hesitant to get out of from the stupid idea even Eunhyuk said to her it's wrong. (Inferior Te). And she finally getting able out because : 1) Getting concrete evidence by herself, by accidentally hearing the conversation between Mi-no and Ra-Im in the playground. 2) Getting the proof by herself by checking her love meter after kissing Eunhyuk. INFP and ENFP are more similiar each other compared to any other MBTI, in my opinion. So, I am open to receiving any other arguments.
