What personality type is Lore? Lore is an ENTP personality type in MBTI, 8w7 - sx/so - 783 in Enneagram, in Big 5, in Socionics.
8 core? He's certainly 8 in Trifix, but it really doesn't fit as his core. He's an absolute case study for antisocial 3w4s, lol. In most of his appearances, he's not confrontational or outright aggressive at all - he's charming and tries to win everyone over in an instant, convince them of his perfectness and superiority. 8s generally don't care for others' convictions. It can be hard to tell since he hates humans, but his personality is built around his need for admirability and commendation. He's overwhelmingly identity-focused; the whole reason he contacted the crystalline entity is because he viewed it as himself, a superior lifeform feared and misunderstood by humans. His image is everything, and in his later venture with the Borg, he is also motivated by the need to feel superior and create a legacy for himself. He's looking for his legend, his story (or "lore", if you will)... ...and every time he does, he manufactures it. He's performative, and he may seem like an 8 for how he bullies people into playing a part in his performance, but that's literally the Passion of Deceit. He is toxic because he believes his lies, his artifices, sees them as genuine things that naturally "come" to him and are ultimately for the best, and he expects others to feed his narcissism just the same.
