What personality type is Elayne Trakand? Elayne Trakand is an ENFJ personality type in MBTI, 3w2 - so/sx - 371 in Enneagram, SLOAI in Big 5, EIE in Socionics.
Dominant Fe for sure, she's extremely adept at feeling the mood of the people around her and working with it. Since her first appearances in the books she is shown to be the mediator of the group and even other characters around her note how socially uplifting she can be without even knowing she's doing it. Middle Ni-Se is also very obvious. On one hand she's a genius who competently maneuvers politics, people, battles and even managed to reverse engineer ter'angreals; on the other hand she often can't resist the impulse to jump ahead, recklessly getting into danger for the sake of wanting to experience things first hand. Her inferior Ti is less noticeable but you see it mostly when she spends time talking to herself moping and trying to make peace with her previous bad decisions by re-analysing them. EIE sociotype also works pretty well for her. Polr Si lol. Big5 SLOAI or SCOAI. Extroverted, conscientious(she works VERY hard), highly agreeable and curious...as for the last one it's more debatable, I think she's slightly more limbic than calm, she's quite emotionally turbulent(even before the pregnancy!)
Biography
The current Daughter-Heir of Andor. Unlike most daughters of House Trakand, visiting the White Tower is not merely a formality in Elayne's case: she can actually channel, and she will be the first Aes Sedai on the Lion Throne in some years. In the meanwhile, she gets swept up into the grand scheme of things, partially because she becomes friends with Egwene and partially because she's got a thing for Rand.
