Dave Blunts is a 24-year-old underground rapper from Davenport, Iowa. He started producing music back in 2018 and grew a following over the next few years, but really started focusing on his music in 2020. Before going viral for his music, he actually went viral on Reddit for a meme about getting "finessed" and given a dollar bill with Barack Obama's face on it. In 2024, Blunts' songs "The Cup" and "Talking to the Sun" started blowing up on TikTok after he posted videos rapping along to them. The former song, which has Blunts singing about his lean addiction, even got a shoutout from fellow artist Lil Yachty.
