I think her priority clearly lies in projecting her need for love onto Nico (notice how they are someone who comes off as weak and needy: this is specially the kind of people that e2s go after to create dependencies and feed their pride) and doing anything she can to come off as warm and supportive in order for that affection to be returned. Even if she does things that Nico doesn't really want or need, keeping herself delusional even after it's clear Nico abused her trust, or putting everyone's else's life in danger because poor little Nico will be traumatized if they discuss their attempted murder. Naranjo said in Character and Neurosis that 2s believe that "everything is permissable as long as it's done in the name of love", and if that isn't the belief she acted upon in the last episode then I don't know what is. Her mature and collected demeanor makes her look like a 1, but she doesn't really show any of the 1s trait structure because there isn't any perfectionism in her, she doesn't control herself to the point her thinking is logic-bound in order to flawlessly follow a formula of "goodness"; she's clearly controlled by her emotions. Lashing out in anger over Nico being pressured into thinking about what they did and putting everyone's lifes in risk is the exact kind of behavior that e1s want to avoid. They fear that if they allow their emotions to control them, it will lead to destructive behavior that will mean they're no longer "good". Voting someone like her as an so1, a cold character that withdraws from bonds out of a feeling of superiority, makes no sense to me in the least so2 makes a lot more sense, trying to be useful to the group by acting like some sort of "moderator". This isn't out of a need to be "good", it's out of a need to be "important" to the group

Hu Jing is an incredibly talented musician who specializes as the Ultimate Zither Player. It’s said that even a listening to a few minutes of one of her performances will bring tears to even the hardest of hearts. Hu possesses a very motherly personality, and does her best to maintain order in the group. At times, her nagging nature shows.
