What personality type is Kaya? Kaya is an INFP personality type in MBTI, 2w1 - sx/sp - 962 in Enneagram, RCOAI in Big 5, EII in Socionics.
Kaya is an INFP in a Fi-Si loop with lack of Ne due to trauma. Her desire is to become like her elder sister Sasha, because in the past she fought so hard to protect her from that titan in S2EP2 (Si). Her Si is so strong that she bases lots of her decisions on her past, on what her sister has done for her. She doesn't help Gabi and Falco because she wants to be accepted by them, or to be loved by them (Fe), but because of her morals and her desire to be like Sasha ("My big sister would never leave two kids like you alone... I want to be like my big sister") that's a very strong Fi. She asks Gabi why her mother was eaten by a titan, she cannot accept that she died because she has never killed anyone Gabi: "ELDIANS HAVE KILLED PEOPLE FOR TWO THOUSAND OF YEARS" Kaya: "MY MOTHER HAS NEVER KILLED ANYONE" She thinks people must be judged based on their actions committed in the past (Si), and her mother didn't kill anyone so she didn't deserve to be eaten by a titan (Fi). But, Gabi, who killed her sister, should be killed according to her and she doesn't hesitate trying to do it (very Fi, pretty unhealthy I'd say, she's very revengeful) She cannot accept that Kaya killed Sasha, she cannot think straight, even if according to her Sasha would never leave two kids by themselves (Fi-Si with lack of Te, she has Te inferior) Her Ne couldn't develop due to the trauma caused by the titan eating her mother alive, so she's stuck in Fi-Si costantly She has no Fe, ENFJ doesn't make much sense in my opinion, even INFJ would be more accurate. Also I think 9w1 is more suitable than 2w1, she never expressed the desire of being loved, she just wants to be like her sister. She then forgives Gabi after she sees Sasha in her (again Fi-Si), I really want to see that scene in the anime. She's deeply connected to Sasha, she wants to become like her, which is not only Fi but looks like sexual 9: "This subtype fuses deeply with significant others in relationships as a strategy to feed their sense of self and sense of comfort. They tend to feel more secure when partnered with others and may find it challenging to be on their own. They are resistant to paying attention to themselves, their passions and desires and tend to go along with the preferences of others, even if this means sacrificing their own plans and needs." I cannot see neither 2 fix nor 5 fix: she's focused on her own identity (goal: to be like Sasha, a very 4 thing), and she valued her support more than anything "When the Nile titan attacked her, she asked Sasha help, and once Gabi helped her, she thought she was Sasha" (6 fix) RLOEN and Phlegmatic-Melancholic (she's very quiet and relaxed, but she desplays her hard emotions in a very melancholic way). I understand Phleg Dom votes though.
Biography
Kaya is a civilian living within Wall Rose. She was saved by Sasha Blouse from a Titan during the Wall Rose invasion, and now lives with the Blouse family.
