What personality type is Maple? Maple is an ENFJ personality type in MBTI, 2w1 - sx/so - 268 in Enneagram, SLOAI in Big 5, EIE in Socionics.
I'll add onto the ENFJ argument. If Maple truly stuck to her programming as intended (aka following Midori's every order and carrying out her duties as an obstructor like a lapdog), it would be a clear sign of Si. Maple is adaptive to her programming and learns a way to bypass it, being Ni. This information is only said however during the aftermath of Kurumada trying to snap her neck. Maple knows that what Midori's doing is wrong, and is able to break out of her programming to resist Midori. Even after being told "I love you, Maple," from Midori, she still goes through with her attack that would've ultimately ended Midori's life had it actually hit. In addition, Maple gives valuable knowledge to the participants such as the conditions for winning the death game to Sara and Ranmaru and informing Keiji about the banquet. All are in defiance of what Midori probably intended. Fe dom manifests in helping the participants overall and not wanting to hurt them. She feels terrible after blasting Kurumada's body out, and once more provides valuable information to the participants. She even cares about Midori, even if it's just "programming." She can't fully escape her programming in that sense. She still has loyalty and feelings for Midori. Even so, she sides with the participants because she realizes what Midori does is unethical and wrong (which is why it's wing 1 and not wing 3). So much for an obstructor who's supposed to love Midori. Midori didn't take proper measures to ensure Maple didn't go rogue and look what happened 💀
