Uttara Ashadha MBTI Personality Type
Personality
What personality type is Uttara Ashadha? Uttara Ashadha is an ENTJ personality type in MBTI, 8w9 - - in Enneagram, in Big 5, ILE in Socionics.
There are some votes I beg to differ from on Uttara ashadha. Enneagram: Firstly, I don’t think the enneagram 3 (whether it be dominant or wing) is a better representation than 8. A main drive for Uttara ashadha is not a predominance of ego (3w4) but a strategic conquering of challenges that would lead to systematic expansions of their paradigm or vision and gain control over their legacy. They are also not as motivated by desires to nurture or improve their own image (3w2). Furthermore, I chose 8w9 over 8w7 because Uttara ashadha is associated with capacity for diplomacy when required and some utilitarian ideals (more on that below). Alignment: I disagree with Lawful Evil because it is an overgeneralization. It’s probably based on the idea that Uttara Ashadha are fit to be politicians and therefore willing to condone evil when it serves some selfish goals. The first ashadha, Purva Ashadha, is associated with ruling in times of war and warfare strategy, whereas Uttara ashada is associated with ruling in times of peace, strategies to prolong peace, and readiness to war ONLY when necessary. Ruling in times of peace requires strategic and methodological procedures including ability to be shrewd and calculated, but doing so to prevent matters of war. This is where diplomacy comes into play since forming and maintaining the right alliances is important in this process. In many interpretations, Uttara asdhada is associated with utilitarian causes and being able to do the right thing. They must also be able to see different perspectives to a story while trying to come to a good conclusion to be a good ruler of peace. I think that both lawful neutral and lawful good are better interps than lawful evil, I just don’t know which one is better between the two but I went with Lawful good due to the utilitarian and righteousness interps that are out there. Instinctual variant: I chose SP because they are cautious in their planning to prevent a dismantling of systems they are creating or have created. They are good in formal situations; they do not prioritize social chitchat (SO) nor deep intimate interactions (SX) in a position of power. I chose SX as a secondary variant because they are known for their realness rather than dabbling at the surface of personal social interactions for social enjoyment. They are capable of rigorous discourses with tremendous amount of depth and prefer them over being sociable and passive.
