happy birthday! 🎉🎂 do you guys mind if we revisit his enneagram? i'm feeling less and less like 8 is fitting for him, but i don't know what else would be more accurate... possibly sp4? as the countertype, naranjo labels this subtype as "tenacity" and describes them as hardworking and willing to internalize & bear pain/frustration in order to make up for the "deficiency" they believe they have. i thought this description was similar to reon's willingness to stick with gyroaxia despite how strongly he opposes nayuta, and the constant hard work he puts into proving his musical abilities. 4 in general is also part of the reactive triad, and sp4s (especially when sx secondary) are sometimes described as impulsive (though they usually work to control these impulses), which would account for him being mistaken for an 8 because of his tendency to lash out at nayuta when he feels provoked. but at the same time, his ultimatum to nayuta in the gyroaxia band story feels a bit like the antithesis of the subtype. he calls him out for assuming he can endure his asthma on his own and overworking himself, which is archetypal sp4 behavior in itself, so for him to oppose it that strongly... kind of makes what i wrote in the last paragraph completely fall apart? i'll have to look into the other types that naranjo compares to the sp4 and maybe i'll find a better answer, but i'm still very much not convinced he's an 8 either, because i don't think he fits the lust for power & dominance in the same way that characters like nayuta and shu do.
Biography
The rhythm guitarist of GYROAXIA. A stubborn yet patient young man who won't stop what he's doing until he excels at it. He really doesn't like Nayuta, but he always holds back from directly confronting him and stays in GYROAXIA due to their talent.
