It’s ALWAYS something like this: Some non-fans: Say racist, xenophobic, homophobic sht, are schrodinger’s douchebags, double standards, use repetitive unfunny memes for no reason and just can’t argument logically, when they criticize Kpop’s industry they NEVER do the same with the western industry (BOTH should be criticized, stpid folks. The funny thing is that they don’t even know that much abt the Kpop industry anyways but they just criticize it generically since they get their rts and faves), act as if fans aren’t aware of how shtty the Kpop industry is when fans actually do more than them to try to change that and are way more helpful in that aspect (these non-fans just say generic repetitive simplistic stuff and... that’s it), ATTACK the artists for no reason and then say “it’s the fans/it’s the industry” either you’re too dmb or you’re just trying to make excuses for yourself when it’s clear that your problem isn’t the fans or the industry but the artists, generalize entire artists saying that they’re all shtty ppl (we could do that same generalization and even MORE intensified with western artists just saying), bash the music for no reason sometimes (I mean BASH, like just BASH for no reason and attacking the artists), spread toxic ideas (ex: toxic masculinity), when they criticize Kpop’s industry it seems more like they’re bashing the artists (how hard is it to FOCUS on the INDUSTRY and COMPANIES instead of the artists, huh? Is it hard?), criticize male artists for their looks and what they do ignoring the cultural difference (ex: in Korea two men hugging =/= gay but well these ppl are just too self-centered in their mindsets and cultures or whatever), are assholes to artists for NO reason in general, make fun of ppl who have already passed (ex: Jonghyun, Sulli), make fun of artists tripping and slipping on stages and even ATTACK them for that reason when it’s something that usually isn’t even their fault, don’t care about the artists’ abilities and focus more on whether they use makeup or dye their hair etc, use Kpop and fans for clout and stuff for no reason and you don’t even know if these ppl are haters or what the hell they are, are just straight up subjective when criticizing Kpop artists just bcs they’re Kpop artists, use fallacies in the most stpid ways (ad-hominem for example. I’m not going to say that I’m perfect when I argument and stuff but these non-fans are just brainless), say the most stpid sht and then complain when fans argue back, too generic, simplistic and repetitive when calling out their fellow non-fans for their retrograde mentalities (ex: toxic masculinity), etc. Some fans: Infantilize artists and treat them like they’re a FREAKING FETUS, lack morals sometimes and put music over basic humanity, put strangers (Kpop artists) on pedestals and then get all upset when they fck up (I get why y’all get upset but WHY putting strangers on pedestals in the first place, huh?), overpraise artists, as I mentioned before TOO MUCH competitiveness and focus on achievements, spam, some fans who only like 1 group then start talking sht about fans who like more than 1 group, can’t see other perspectives other than their own, WAY TOO SUBJECTIVE and lack objectivity + honesty, invent stpid and easily-debunked excuses when artists sound like sht on live, double standards, self-entitled, focus on useless stuff, nominations and polls that don’t go anywhere, clean searches (example in case y’all don’t know what it is, let’s say if you search koko on Twitter the searches that pop out are “koko ugly” and “koko talentless”. Basically cleaning searches is tweeting and spamming for example “koko pretty” “koko talented” “koko dancing” to get rid of those negative searches) for NO reason sometimes and even do that to try to cover up important issues that should be addressed, don’t care about important stuff like bodyshaming and colorism just bcs it involves their favorite artists, use the most stpid arguments, use cringe emojis and phrases, too repetitive, simplistic and generic when talking abt stuff they shouldn’t be so easy abt, BORING comment sections and they’re just too simplistic and generic (also repeat what everyone else says and no variety), don’t call out their artists when they do shtty in a performance or whatever UNLESS the performance or whatever is just straight up EXTREMELY MESSY, unable to see facts sometimes, DELUSIONAL, “give platform” and support gf stans and later on criticize K-fans for being controlling over artists’ love lifes (hypocrisy), are always babying artists and treating them like they’re dmb, when their artists fck up they just CAN’T properly call them out, overcontrolling and protective, invent stuff that isn’t true to cover up stuff (specially in controversies and scandals), can’t see possibilities where there genuinely ARE possibilities and NEVER take those possibilities into consideration, this example: A group is exposed for bullying and harassing 1 member +
