Dilruba Sultan MBTI Personality Type
Personality
What personality type is Dilruba Sultan? Dilruba Sultan is an ISTJ personality type in MBTI, 6w5 - sx/so - 682 in Enneagram, RCOAI in Big 5, in Socionics.
i will go with the consensus with ISTJ. i’m not sold on 8w7 because i don’t think that doesn’t make sense for her. SI: it’s obvious that dilruba’s environment in the harem has affected her since she was a child. halime, her mother, has installed the two most important values in her. 1. survival and power 2. mustafa comes first dilruba has learned this since she was a child and she continues to value this in her adulthood. these memories of mustafa being unfairly imprisoned motivated her to take revenge and enthrone him. she carries the memories and use them to push her to succeed. TE: dilruba’s Te is overdeveloped and it makes her come off as psychopathic. when she manages to capture kosem’s children, she orders for them to be killed through arson. she does this to ensure that mustafa is the only heir to the throne, so to her this vile crime makes sense. FI: i can see people arguing dilruba’s Fi being inferior making her an ESTJ. but i think it makes sense to be her tertiary. dilruba is very loving toward mustafa. her moments and protection over him shows how much she cares about him. it’s also one of the times we see her humanity. another big moment that shows her Fi is her relationship with her husband, davud pasha. davud aligns with her values of putting mustafa on the throne. but the cherry on top is that he cares mores about dilruba than mustafa. mustafa has always been more important than dilruba so davud’s declaration of how his love for her is appealing to her small Fi. NE: this is definitely her inferior function. dilruba has never considered a life outside of fighting for mustafa. she never considers the possibility of giving up and not searching for power. all she knows is politics within the harem and fighting for survival. dilruba is a very controversial character due to her ruthless and manipulative nature. i do think it was nurture rather than nature that made her this way. i think if dilruba got more screen time than audiences would understand her more.
