Biography
An aloof high school student known as the Solitary Fighter. He met Aichi in the past and was the one who gave him the Blaster Blade card. Kai uses a Kagero deck, spearheaded by Dragonic Overlord. He uses the latter's ability to restand itself alongside skills that retire opposing rearguard to wreck havoc on his opponent's field. In the second arc of the series, he upgrades his deck by including Dragonic Overlord the Great. Later on, he obtains Dragonic Overlord the End from Mamoru which he goes on to use during the Koshien.
