I’m here to talk about Iwa’s Big5. This was prompted by another user asking me why I had voted Iwachan’s Big5 the way i did. While I have since changed my opinion about him being agreeable, I’m adamant on him being social instead of reserved. Below is an excerpt of a reply of mine to said user. “why do people even think he’s reserved? he’s always with friends, doesn’t really seem introverted, assertive.. it’s the same as with osamu lol like imo people think oh this person is less sociable than this character (oikawa/atsumu), they must be reserved. when some people can be more social than others but theyd both still be social. i just dont think we have enough on him to say he’s reserved when all the time we see him he’s surrounded by people lol” Now while this comment wasn’t the most informative LMFAO I’m here now because I actually now have the right words to back up my argument. These are the traits that comprise extraversion in big5: extroversion, positive emotions, excitement-seeking, activity level, assertiveness, and gregariousness. In Iwa, I hope we can agree that this is how he scores in each aspect: Extroversion: Moderate Positive Emotions: Moderate Excitement-Seeking: Moderate-High Activity Level: High Assertiveness: High Gregariousness: High Warmth: Low-Moderate These scores clearly make him social>reserved. This is just really obvious to me so I’m kind of confused about the consensus. I noticed he’s also unorganized in the consensus which is far from the truth so I’ll also score him based on each trait measuring conscientiousness. Self-Assurance: High Orderliness: Moderate (I want to say N/A-i don’t think we see this aspect from him) Dutifulness: High Achievement-Striving: Moderate-High Self-Discipline: High Prudence: Moderate Taking all of this into consideration, Iwaizumi’s Big 5 is SCOAN. Let me know if you disagree in how he scores in aspects though (and the other letters if you want to bring them up), let’s talk about it.
Biography
Hajime Iwaizumi (Japanese: 岩泉 一 Iwaizumi Hajime) is a third-year student from Aoba Johsai High. He was the volleyball team's ace, vice-captain, and a wing-spiker. He is Tōru Oikawa's childhood friend.
