Biography
Mike Carey is a British comic book writer. He began his career as a teacher before moving on to the comic industry. His first comic book was published in 1991 for Apocalypse publisher in the title Toxic!. After working for Malibu Comics and Caliber Comics, Carey was hired by Vertigo and worked on the Sandman Presents title. Later on he worked on the titles Lucifer and Hellblazer. In 2004 he worked for Marvel Comics on the title Ultimate Elektra and in 2005 he was worked for DC Comics on the title Detective Comics.
