Methinks Rick has all of the traits of an ISTJ. He was the tireless worker holding things together in the background, but proved to be inflexible in regards to letting go of many Trek traditions held by Roddenberry and often clashed with more liberal ideas that actors and writers tried to bring to 90's Trek. Almost a bit of a control freak.
Biography
Richard Berman (born 1945) is an American television producer and screenwriter. He is best known for his work as the executive producer of several of the Star Trek television series: Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Enterprise, as well as several of the Star Trek films, and for ultimately succeeding Gene Roddenberry as head of the Star Trek franchise until the cancellation of Star Trek: Enterprise in 2005.
