What personality type is Charles Darnay? Charles Darnay is an ENFJ personality type in MBTI, 2w3 - so/sx - 271 in Enneagram, SCOAI in Big 5, ESE in Socionics.
Edit: After my reread I believe him to be an ENFJ e1. ^^ My apologies for my first argument, I’ll construct a more thorough analysis of his type hopefully soon! I’ve had some trouble trying to figure out Charles Darnay’s type. I do believe him to be a Fe dominant from his strong sense of wanting to be moral, from an external point of view, (example: Going to France to save Gabell, denouncing the Evrémonde name because of their wrong doings.) Yet, he still wants to be polite, and keep the harmony when around others, which affects the manner in which he expresses it. I’m not sure if I ever saw him use Ni throughout the book, such as noticing Mr. Cartons change in character, or making the connection of the dangers of visiting France. I could definitely see the possibility of Se explaining my previous question! However, I feel his character was a lot less developed then others in the story so it feels difficult for me to come to a accurate conclusion. When it comes to enneagram I can definitely see 2w3! Other view points are always welcome!:)
