James Gandolfini was probably an INFJ. He was clearly introverted. Soft and shy, intensely private. He is definitely an intuitive type. That's how his acting process was described by others. Building himself up to the emotion of a scene. His interactions with others was definitely Fe. He made others feel listened to. He could intuitively tell what other cast members needed. When Meadow's actress was struggling with an illness and parents divorcing, he got an acting coach/secretary for her at the time. He was always warm and amiable when meeting fans, though reserved. He lacked self-control and had trouble managing the hedonistic pleasures he pursued, mainly drugs. David Chase said "he was a man who did not take good care of himself" and unfortunately his health problems contributed to the sudden end of his life. Great actor, his work and kindness will be remembered.
