Biography
Debra Kane was the social worker who takes care of Arthur Fleck. Kane does her best to be of aid to Arthur, but when the funds for the Department of Health are cut, she loses her job, and is unable to help her patient(s) further. This version of the character is exclusive to the continuity of the film Joker and is an adaptation of Debra Kane. The original character was created by Andrew Vachss, Neal Barrett, Jr., and Denys Cowan and first appeared in Batman: The Ultimate Evil #1. Debra Kane was portrayed by Sharon Washington.
