The show really tried to hammer in that Paddie is a replacement of patty in the role of the group, but also as a personality. The only significant difference that led to him being ejected from the group, was that we was more extreme, daring, scary, thrill seeking, and intense than patty. And with patty DEFINITELY being an ISTP, I think it would be very fitting that paddie is an ESTP.
