Personality

What personality type is Noah Puckerman? Noah Puckerman is an ESTP personality type in MBTI, 6w7 - sx/so - 683 in Enneagram, SCUEN in Big 5, SLE in Socionics.

~Reposting My Older Comment~ I think he is a 6w7, and here is why. ~Analyzing Why~ 6 Vice: Fear 6 Desire: To feel emotionally secured and supported + they enjoy stability When 6s are stressed, they go into 3s, becoming afraid of failure, constantly dwelling on how their image is, and very driven in an unhealthy manner. They will become more aggressive, driven, and terrified of failure. Puck can often have dramatic, pessimistic thoughts about himself, which as a result, seems to be thinking he has no use of him for a living or that no one would care for him often. For example, when he ends up in juvenile detention, after he comes back to serve as Artie's community service, one from the detention center shows up and they admit they try to help him, but frustratingly screams, "None of you ever cared for me!" This can be seen as rather Sx 6 behavior because of how 6s vice is fear, showing that it seems like the authorities of his school give him the impression nobody ever wanted to be with him ever. Another time when he said something, (I mentioned this in my previous comment) is when he thinks in 18th episode of Season 1 he is human garbage and that he should let the truck come and take him, due to his thinking he has no point of existence. However, he turns over to look at Mercedes as an example and starts dating her to make himself feel better. How can this be 6w7? With 6s being in the Head Triad, the Head Triad's main core/vice totally, is getting their support and fear. 6s turn to the people around them to feel emotionally safe and supported. This can seem like an example of 6. Despite majority of the members of Glee Club having the thought as losers, Puck is one of the major characters who can feel that way, especially in the first season. However, as he develops his character change, he becomes more loyal to it and wants to protect it. In addition, 6s are very loyal people who care for the safety and help of others. Puck once convinces the football team to join Glee one time, because he thinks it is fun and wants to support it. The purpose of the core in Enneagram (and tritypes) is what each experiences first, and as a 6w7, I think he experiences fear much more than anger, despite often getting frustrated easily- "I go every day and say, 'Puck, be nice'." But this doesn't go well for him. He tells this to Rachel, and wants to make out with her because he feels supported and safe after she can relate to him. w7: 7s main vice is gluttony, and oftentimes Puck does have that, as he enjoys dwelling on gluttonous possessions/sensory pleasures. He is also more impulsive, outgoing, aggressive, and social as a 6w7 than a 6w5.
