What personality type is Poppy? Poppy is an ENFP personality type in MBTI, 7w6 - so/sx - 729 in Enneagram, SLUAI in Big 5, ESE in Socionics.
Not mine but intriguing argument: Ne dom - she's constantly coming up with ideas and exploring different ways to do things which can be shown in her hobbies and general behavior. She was willing to believe that maybe bergens weren't so bad after all (1st movie) and that all the different Trolls could come together in harmony and move on from the past (2nd movie). * In the first movie, Bridget's song made her think that maybe Branch didn't know everything about bergens after all and was even willing to help her win the king over. * In both the movies we see Poppy coming up with impulsive ideas such as allowing the Trolls to hide in Branch's bunker, deciding to save her friends on her own, deciding that the bergens needed a holiday in the holiday special, and riding a hot air balloon to help Barb unite the world. This can be mistaken as her being Fe dom, but if you really think about it, most of these ideas come from her values and ideals, with her friends constantly calling her out on not listening to them. (Ne-Fi) * I don't think I even need to explain the show, since Ne is very clear there. Fi Aux - Poppy does care about others, but she is very driven by her own values and her own worldview. She can be pretty fixated on what she thinks is right and what's important to her, like her friends, singing, dancing, and hugging. This may cause her to seem a bit selfish at times and seems like she doesn't listen to anyone but herself. * "I know the world isn't all cupcakes and rainbows, but I'd rather go through life thinking that it mostly is..." * In the second movie, in her dad's words, she was brave enough to believe things could change. Again, this could be argued as her having Fe dom, but majority of the second movie pointed out numerous times about her not listening to anyone but herself. She was also doing it to prove herself as a good queen, which was emphasized throughout the movie. Ter Te - I don't have much to say about Te, but Poppy does like to get what she wants done and is driven to get her goals accomplished. She focuses her thinking more on the outside world and how she can put her ideas into action. Inf Si - Poppy doesn't really rely on her experiences or her past to make judgments. Though she had been taught about bergens being bad her whole life, she was more open and quick to believe otherwise than her counterpart, Branch (who is a clear Si dom).
