Biography
The second son of Emperor Constantine and his wife Fausta (third son of Constantine), he (along with his brothers Constantine II and Constans) ruled the Roman Empire after his father's death. Constantius II's reign was known for being religiously intolerant, civil wars in the Roman Empire, and constant warfare against the Sasanian Empire and Germanic tribes.
