Julian said that only people who are trying not to offend or alienate their readers use myth to avoid speaking bluntly, this sounds like pure Ti reasoning and I doubt a Fe user would state this. Julian's view of all schools of philosophy comes from the oracle of delphi "know thyself, avoid vain opinions, and seek the truth" He then pointed out the hypocrisy of cynics on how they use myth through Ti reasoning then starts to randomly spurt out a whole list of philosophers and gods out of nowhere to reinforce his point and would frequently jump between topic to topic without fleshing things out in his criticism of the cynics which seem's either very Ne'ish. He and his wife slept in separate rooms and didn't have much interest in that activity was very ascetic from indulgence, Never remarried after his wife died and never had any relations with any other women, this sounds like the opposite of Se. He had a big mouth and would often like to flash his learning which many people probably found annoying. His final campaign in persia was poorly planned suffering a lack of supplies got cut off and was too reliant on Armenian support, this lack of a fully thought out plan resulted in his death.

Julian (331/332 – 26 June 363), also known as Julian the Apostate, was Roman Emperor from 361 to 363, as well as a notable philosopher and author in Greek. He is most famously known for his rejection of Christianity, and his rejection of the authoritarian empire that was left to him from his family members. He was the last Pagan Emperor of Rome.
