What personality type is Ivy? Ivy is an ESFJ personality type in MBTI, 2w3 - so/sp - 261 in Enneagram, in Big 5, ESE in Socionics.
I initially thought that she was an ESTJ, but as she talked more about her motivations and understandings of Ollie/other species changed it’s pretty clear she’s actually a Fe dom. Her resourcefulness was centered around preserving the harmony and wellbeing of those she loved and cared for, she wanted to help them and appreciated Ollies kindness as a child, when she didn’t know it had detriment. That changed when she learned his story; and the more she learned about others in the same situation, the more she cared and was willing to put herself on the line in the same way. It’s strange because it comes across very Te like, but it is true that Fe is a rational function and her character is one that became harsh out of necessity. Very ESFJ though, a good example of an ESFJ like this would be Katara from ATLA.
