Clint Eastwood MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Clint Eastwood? Clint Eastwood is an ISTP personality type in MBTI, 8w9 - sp/sx - 854 in Enneagram, RCOEN in Big 5, SLI in Socionics.

I normally wouldn't type someone based on their acting roles, but Clint Eastwood has been making movies for several decades and all of them have been maverick ISTPs with the exception of a few. He comes across as a pretty phlegmatic ISTP in his interviews and doesn't strike me as an 8w9, but rather his characters. Harry Callahan, Blondie, Gunny Highway and Josey Wales come to mind. He demonstrates the bona fide calmness of a 9w8 with the grounded aggression and intensity supported by his wing. 8w9 is more like Bruce Lee. Aggressive and intense with grounded calmness in his actions.

Biography

Clinton "Clint" Eastwood, Jr. (born May 31, 1930) is an American actor, director, producer, singer, songwriter, former mayor of Carmel, California, and designer of his own line of golf clothing. He's most famous for portraying tough-as-nails gunslingers who speak very little, and make each word (and bullet) count. The two most famous roles of this kind are Dirty Harry, and the Man With No Name in Sergio Leone's Dollars Trilogy. He is also widely cited as being the only western actor to win a Quick Draw contest for real. He really likes to act, and especially direct, movies that deconstruct his own Image. Despite his macho image, openly and willingly admitted to being very much a science nerd, and enjoying sci-fi and being a major jazz fan, and even composed his own music scores. In his younger days, he was very much The Casanova, so much so that he not only had mistresses but reportedly cheated on his mistresses with other mistresses. Eastwood made no secret of this.
