Olive MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Olive? Olive is an ISTJ personality type in MBTI, 1w2 - sp/so - 136 in Enneagram, SLOAN in Big 5, LSE in Socionics.

Okay, before I say this, I’ll say that Olive’s consensus as an ISTJ holds a lot of merit. I don’t necessarily want to change her type. Yet, after seeing some episodes, I’ve been thinking Olive could be an ISFJ trapped in a Si-Ti loop. As such, this little analysis thing will analyze both sides. Her backstory in Training Day doesn’t have her using Te much, if at all. She was definitely relying on some sort of feeling function (Fe/Fi) to operate. If ISTJ (which she most likely is), Olive was in a Si-Fi loop throughout the flashback and only starting breaking from it with the pienado incident, which practically required the use of Te. However, she began repressing her Fi during Season 1 to avoid falling back into the timid self she had once been. Over the course of the season, she started re-developing her “lost” tertiary function, later becoming a healthy, rounded ISTJ. If ISFJ, Olive would have been relying on Fe without using much Si/Ti throughout Training Day. Post-Pienado, she would enter a loop that she wouldn’t have been able to get out of both because of her over-reliance on Ti and repression of Fe. Although Fe would come back in spotty moments, it would inevitably be forced back down again. Over the course of the season, she starts using her Fe in a natural way again and thus breaking out of they loop.

Biography

Olive (Portrayed by #DalilaBela) was an agent who has worked at Odd Squad for many years, the opposite of her partner Otto. She is a veteran agent and a serious worker that always focuses on the task at hand (unless the subject turns to her favorite sports team, the Bears). Sometimes, she is noted to be too serious and in need of lightening up a little. Her badge number is 63, and she alternates between disliking and liking the band, Soundcheck. As of the Season 1 finale, she currently runs her own Odd Squad as a Ms. O with her partner, Otto.
