What personality type is George McFly? George McFly is an INTP personality type in MBTI, 9w1 - sp/sx - 954 in Enneagram, RCUAI in Big 5, LII in Socionics.
he's a very stereotypical social 9, the "human punching bag" lol many people here have a tendency to treat instinctual variants and enneagram as different systems and think that all social types are actually sociable, which is not true. he's a social 9's because he sacrifices his own needs just to please everyone and avoid conflict, you can clearly see that when he tries to be nice and please his bullies; another thing that shows he's a social type is what motivated him to act. he didn't punch buff biff (i cant spell lmao) to protect himself, but to protect others. Self-preservation 9's are more cold when compared to so9 and are more prone to establish their own needs and limits at some point. also, I think he's RCUAI before developing his self-confidence, but then becomes RCOAI (big five changes over time!) do you think we should keep it for how he is in the biggest part of the movie or we should type how he ends up as?
Biography
George Douglas McFly (born April 1, 1938) is the father of Dave, Linda and Marty McFly, and the husband of Lorraine Baines McFly. He is of Irish-American ancestry. George was bullied from a very early age, not just by Biff but by other classmates and even by some adults including Stanford S. Strickland. He had been attracted to Lorraine for some time by 1955 but was too scared to ask her out. George and Lorraine were married on December 7, 1958, and moved into Lyon Estates, their first child Dave was born in 1963, followed by Linda McFly in 1966 and Marty in 1968.
