What personality type is Biff Tannen? Biff Tannen is an ESTP personality type in MBTI, 8w7 - - 837 in Enneagram, SLUEN in Big 5, SLE in Socionics.

I think Biff has tertiary Fe. It depends on the context if he will use it or not. Biff wants to be the strongest person so he can impose his will to others or even harass them. When he gets what he wants (in 1955, in deviant 1985 and original 1985), he is terrible, violent and purely evil. However, when Biff is overpowered (in good 1985), he acts like a living angel. But it's likely a facade to quit problems. At the end of the third movie, in 2015 or when after he used the almanach, it's shown he still hold grudge against George mcFly, and still has his agressive side. However, he doesn't dare anymore to confront the McFlies anymore so will act nice around them, but by fear, not by heart. I could see all of this as E8 with both integration into E2 and desintegration as E5 at the same time since Biff will act nicely and even rigourously (he keeps peculiars away from Marty's car, before recognising him), but will keep himself at distance like a passive observer.

Biography

Biff Tannen (born 1937) was not very bright and only got through high school by bullying George McFly to do his homework for him. Biff often took pleasure in calling George an "Irish bug". He was feared by most of his schoolmates. The only person he was afraid of was Mr. Strickland. In 1955, he surrounded himself with a gang consisting of (Match, Skinhead, and 3-D). By 1985, Biff's marital status is unknown, although Biff had a grandson Griff by 2015, indicating that Biff had at least one child by 1985. (According to some sources, Biff had a son, Biff Jr., who, it is suggested, owned the Cafe 80's). He may have also had a daughter named Tiff Tannen, short for Tiffany. Biff was noted for mixed metaphors. For example, he said "make like a tree and get out of here" instead of "make like a tree and leave" on more than one occasion.
