What personality type is Yato? Yato is an ENTP personality type in MBTI, 3w4 - so/sx - 379 in Enneagram, SLUAN in Big 5, ILE in Socionics.
The combination of ENTP and e3 became one of my favorites thanks to Yato. The way in which his Fe is clearly developed, by the way in which he seeks the well-being of those close to him, under his own logical parameters (such as enduring the pain caused by Yukine's bad behavior, it must have made sense for Yato to submit to that pain because seen from the perspective of the Te function, It would've been better finding a more definitive and effective solution instead of going through that ordeal like yato 💀) i mean, the Ne-Si structure is everywhere. It doesn't seem to me that yato is the clichéd ENTP if that clown side is very rarely there, compared to the times when Yato is objective, confident, determined and a logical individualist. For me he is a healthy ENTP. I am not able to see an auxiliary Fi (neither as an ESFP nor an ENFP), I did not see a single moment of introspection or a single act carried out from his own moral values and I do not consider that the premise that he does it because he wants to be a praised god is enough to sustain the Fi. All those acts were outward, towards other people and situations. I think that's all I have to say, definitely Yato became one of my favorite ENTPs in fiction ❤️
Biography
Yato (夜ト, Yatō) is one of the three main protagonists of ノラガミ Noragami. An obscure god who considers himself a God of Fortune / Happiness and War, he has been labelled a God of Calamity and Depression in the past. Yato's dream is to become a famous god, whom everyone worships.
