Bart Simpson MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Bart Simpson? Bart Simpson is an ESTP personality type in MBTI, 7w8 - sp/sx - 738 in Enneagram, SCUEN in Big 5, SEE in Socionics.

I am going to regret venturing into the Personality Database comment section, but here I go: While with a casual viewing and at first glance Bart definitely comes across as a type 7. He pulls pranks because it's fun, manipulates people for the thrill, and moves on in a flash. But I think he does it out of a sense of anger than need for a adrenaline rush. The world has failed him; Homer's abusive and neglectful, Marge is in denial about the whole thing, Lisa is so attention- and praise-starved that she joins in, the school just won't adapt to his needs as someone with quite prominent ADHD and a more practical, skill-based intelligence and he is by no means the "perfect child", so he has been cast out by society. I think back to a flashback in one of the recent episodes where, when Bart was a toddler and discovered his artistic talents, decided to create a big drawing all over the kitchen of him and his family in a rocketship, to show his love for them. Though you should be taught that drawing all over the kitchen in generally not a good idea, his parents didn't even stop to think about what the gesture was supposed to represent, or the fact that the drawing was quite good for a toddler. He is simply yelled at and punished. So, because of stuff like this, Bart has learned to bring up a defensive wall. To not show any true emotion. "The world sucks and nobody cares, so nobody deserves to see how I truly feel. And if they do, they will make fun of me." is his mentality. It is also the mentality of type eights. TL;DR, I believe Bart's troublesome behaviour is not coming from a place of fun, but lashing out at a cruel world.
