What is with the current 100 ESTP votes against the 262 ESFP votes? I clearly see unhealthy Fi in Devi, paired with Te. Her Fe is nonexistent, especially if you compare her character to Aneesa (Fe user). “An unhealthy Fi user is that person who just says and does whatever they want without with total disregard as to whether it’s appropriate or not. They are masters at twisting around and justifying everything they say and do. And if all else fails, play the victim, because they’re convinced no one understands them.” After losing her father, Devi exercises her Se and Fi in such an unhealthy way, going after things she deems of value, like popularity and a boyfriend. She interacts with her environment too hastily, without thinking of future consequences like stalking her mom’s date or dating the boys at the same time. Not understanding her feelings isn’t just a Ti trait (I mean, sorta); that’s probably influenced from E7 in this case. Her unhealthy Fi is displayed when she zones in, and only makes things about herself because she believes she had it worse than everyone else. Here’s an example: Devi goes back to her friends after she screamed at them. On the other hand, her friends feel a bit uncertain and distanced from Devi. Devi: It’s true. I was dumped. However, there are moments where Devi uses her Fi in a good manner. An example is where Kamala is mistreated by her coworkers so she asks Devi for advice, like how would Devi act? Devi says that she would stay true to her feelings by getting angry and commanding for respect. ________ I would also like to add that I finished this show and the ending was satisfactory 😌 and I greatly enjoyed her character. She was easy to emphasize. To those that dislike her character: I would like to say that Devi is always held accountable for her mistakes. She has personality and makes the show 100% more interesting compared to having Aneesa or Kamala as the main character.
