𝗟𝗼𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗦𝗣𝟕, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗦𝗫𝟖 (1/2) So, nothing less was expected from the PDB. They saw a character fight and immediately assumed it meant E8. They are not prone to overanalyzing things and simply trust their instincts—especially SX8. Lohen, on the other hand, tends to analyze things before acting, meaning thought comes before action Another problem with the gut triad is the lack of anger as a motivator. Lohen is more focused on fear: his standardized exam tests people's distrust, and he himself says that you can only trust yourself. Lohen is certainly a lustful character, but exhibiting one type of passion doesn't necessarily prove a person belongs to that type, since every personality exhibits all of these passions in one way or another. His personality profile still contains too many things that contradict E8 I'll go through the main possible arguments and explain what the problem is with them. 1.He wants power, which coincides with E8's desire This is partially true. Does he want power? Of course. But not in the same sense as E8. First of all, Lohen sees himself as insufficiently strong. E8s, on the other hand, put on the mask of a tough guy who can handle anything by deceiving both others and himself. It's very strange for such a type to be so aware of his weaknesses. Secondly, Lohen sees power as something that is the ultimate weapon when his typical tricks (poison, hidden knives) fail, and not as something that elevates him above his human surroundings, helping him control them 2.He is clearly excessive and does everything for the sake of sensory experience Firstly, in his trailer, Lohen himself admitted that he doesn't care whether the experience is sensory or not, as long as it's engaging. Secondly, for someone supposedly looking for a really good fight, Lohen often resorts to less-than-lustful, clandestine means. He doesn't go all-out where it doesn't make sense, and he takes people out stealthily. His fighter training isn't based on desperation for combat prowess, but on cunning and mistrust. Moreover, Lohen himself says he doesn't see the point in going completely overboard. He doesn't double down when he loses, which is typical for E8 – he admits defeat and retreats Now, speaking of subtypes, the SX8 take is truly bad. What makes a sexual eight a SEXUAL is their focus on controlling relationships. SX8s need to possess their partners; it's their neurosis. When things don't go their way, they explode and demand their will be fulfilled. Does Lohen have this? Apparently not. When Paimon and the Traveler initially refuse to help him, he simply bribes them rather than demanding their submission SP8 might be a bit of an odd subtype for debunk, as there aren't many people voting for it. But I can see people resorting to this option if they understand the problems with SX8. But this subtype isn't suitable either: SP8 is a lion that only hunts when hungry. Lohen actively provokes conflicts for the sheer fun of it
Biography
Lohen is the Vice Captain of the Knights of Favonius' Fifth Company specialized in range weaponry. In combat, this company does not fight as one, but splits into multiple squads to aid other companies and gain the advantage against long-range opponents. Lohen is a dedicated fighter even within his company, eager to fight more monsters. Varka mentions Lohen being even tougher than himself and Mika comments that Lohen has a special charisma that inspires his companions to follow his brave and crazy tactics.
