What personality type is Cha Yunha? Cha Yunha is an ISTJ personality type in MBTI, 6w5 - SP6 - 613 in Enneagram, in Big 5, LSI in Socionics.
i already see an INFJ vote, here we go again.. i think she's ISTJ or if not, INFP (Fi-Si). I don't see Ni. I'm 27 chapters in (updated with the lastest chapters). I think there are two most fitting possibilities for her: One is Si-Te-Fi (ISTJ) or, Fi-Si (INFP) I'm still unsure of which one it is. But it's definitely not INTJ/ENTJ or INFJ - the most obvious factor is the whole theme of the story where she consciously shuts herself away from everything in order to solely focus on her academics and grades and how she constantly keeps emphasizing how she doesn't have time to be worried about anything/anyone else. this in itself was the biggest giveaway for Si/Te. - Her intentions are direct and decisive, there is no subtlenes in her like we often sense in Ni users. I'm not talking about mysterious aura but more often than not Ni doesn't seem as decisive, direct or assertive in their actions and expression as she is because they might unsure of their foreseen conclusions, there is also a possibility that they might assume it is irrelevant to make their goals obvious for whatsoever reasons. Her single goal-driven mindset may seem like Ni but it resembles Si in how she reacts to her immediate circumstances. - She's heavily concerned with real world achievements (her grades) and believes the only way to do it is by working hard relentlessly and giving her entire energy into nothing but studying, again, this is a pretty straightforward approach to things, it doesn't feel subtle, she leans towards a direct and most sensible option to choose. In the entire story (until 27 chapters), she's constantly seen turning down Ha Minhyuk and other friends' invitations to go out and have fun because again, she believes it's necessary and important for her to keep studying endlessly because it is the most important thing for her right now. - She's very reactive to immediate results (e.g her eagerness related to scoring first in the speech competition or first position in midterms) and she's immediately discouraged when things go unexpectedly. (For the lack of better explanation, for Ni, i would assume grades and prizes to be "steps" in their big goal and not relevant enough to breakdown over it, but for cha yunha her grades are everything and she takes it pretty sensitively - imo there is no strong future oriented vision, if anything, her resolution and dedication to her grades seem to come from a past situation where she's faced critisism from her classmates for not scoring well in middle school, competency matters more than "vision" or set of personal values. - she collects information from the immediate environment (Si) and makes a direct, "no-brainer" kind of conclusion based on it (Te/Fi), and the said information she collects always gets filtered through subjective perception (e.g "Ha Minhyuk likes me") edit: I think "rigid" might be the word for the way she draws conclusions, there are no gaps left for different conclusions, it almost uses a 1+1=2 type of thinking for the lack of better term this becomes obvious in the early chapters (5-15) where she is constantly searching and is focused on confirming her hypothesis that Ha Minhyuk likes her. In chapter 15, her questions are pretty direct — "why are you worried about me?" "why did you get angry on my behalf when you've never been angry before" which are the incidents that led her to believe he liked her and i said it's a very straightforward conclusion and she left no place to question or wonder about any other reason behind his actions. She does not consider any alternatives (Ne) about how these could be misunderstandings or coincidences. It is a very straightforward way of perception imo. Lastly, I'm not erasing the possibility of Fi-Si but this girl is NOT Ni. I genuinely hope I don't see INFJ glazing with this character as well..
