Roman Bellic MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Roman Bellic? Roman Bellic is an ENFP personality type in MBTI, 7w6 - sx/so - 739 in Enneagram, SLUAI in Big 5, IEE in Socionics.

Roman is a clear example of an extroverted intuitive type, at least according to Brings-Meyers' MBTI. Extroverted intuitive types usually focus on a situational outcome in life, whether it's long-term or short-term. Let me clear this up at the beginning. Contrary to popular belief that "Ne is like an uzi and Ni is like a sniper rifle", introversion is tied to inaction, and therefore introverted intuition must have a reflective yet inactive character, that prefers not to interact with surroundings. For Roman, his vision of living in the USA with however he describes it is vivid and obviously what keeps him going. He talks about it when not under stress - for example, in the beginning where he's happy to welcome his cousin. Rather than using what he currently has like a Se using type, he tries to achieve a vision of living the American Dream, without much thought into the process itself. You could argue that this vision is his grand project that he's hoping to finish. His inferior Si represents a rejection of the current situation, deeply suppressed by his Ne. When he realizes that he is in a bad situation, his Si shadow comes out and he complains of the obvious negative facts, which is totally reasonable but it only shows up when he's under a lot of stress. Gifts Differing points that can be tied to Roman: * Are alert to all the possibilities * Have lives that are likely to be a succession of projects (advancing towards the American dream) * Operate by impulsive energy rather than concentrated will- power * Value inspiration above everything else and follow it confidently into all manner of opportunities, enterprises, ventures and adventures, explorations, researches, mechanical inventions, promotions and projects (his big opportunity is the American Dream) ESFP points that can't be tied to Roman: * Are realistic * Are matter-of-fact and practical TL;DR - Roman can't be a sensing type due to his rejection of his current, lacking circumstances. It's something Niko, a sensing type, points out in the opening scene.
