Dr. King Schultz MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Dr. King Schultz? Dr. King Schultz is an ENTP personality type in MBTI, 9w8 - so/sp - 793 in Enneagram, SCOAI in Big 5, ILE in Socionics.

def an ENTP and not an ENFP heres my take. the reason he's ENTP is his opportunistic nature and the way he views morality. best example is when django has to shoot the man who's hanging out with his kid. Shultz views it logically and says he's a criminal and he deserves it, there's also the scene at the beginning of the film where while he doesn't enjoy slavery in this situation it does benefit him, however he still treats django as a person because logically to him color doesn't matter. I genuinely just think that he's an ENTP with developed fe. Edit: so recently read an interview with tarantino where he had this to say about Schutlz, and I feel as though this cements him as an Entp. if you wanna read the full interview here you go. https://www.huffpost.com/entry/quentin-tarantino-django-unchained_n_2340987 "I know what you’re saying, but, honestly, a lot of directors would never say something along those lines. But you’re saying that, in this story, Schultz is a character who makes wrong decisions. He’s working from the wrong assumptions. Schultz is so egotistical and is such a control freak, he cannot allow himself to be put in the non-power position of every situation. It’s why he ends up getting killed in the first place! They’ve had it; they got her. They won. They won! But he cannot make himself subservient — you know, to shake Candie’s hand. I think it’s one of the cool subtexts of the film that ultimately, yes, they were wrong. If they had approached Candie, he would have sold Broomhilda for $5,000." Schultz did not die because of any moral inquiries but rather because he didn't wanna lose to Candie. so this goes against any Fi argument that uses his death.
