Django Freeman MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Django Freeman? Django Freeman is an ISTP personality type in MBTI, 8w9 - sp/sx - 864 in Enneagram, RCUEN in Big 5, SLI in Socionics.

There is a stereotype that ISTPs make the finest mercenaries because they are capable of remaining dispassionate, concentrating on the task at hand, to approach human existence in terms of a transaction, and to avoid being emotionally connected with their mark (Ti DOM). This isn't entirely incorrect, and it's one of the reasons why this stereotype exists. Django possesses many of these attributes; he has no moral qualms about killing people for money and collaborating with King to bring down crooks, but his objective is also to find and free his wife. He does not have any moral qualms about working with King to bring down lawbreakers. He will occasionally let his emotions get the best of him, as in the instance where he considers shooting a man when he believes that perhaps his wife was murdered on his land, but for the most part, he is able to bring himself under control and will do so even when he sees a woman that he cares about being treated poorly. Even from a vast distance, he has an uncanny ability to fire straight as an arrow, and he never misses. When compared to the talkative King, who is brimming with tales and metaphors for their lives, Django doesn't say as much as you might expect him to. He is the type of person who is confident yet reserved, who would rather make a definitive move in the present, and who needs to be persuaded to hold back in order to focus on the bigger picture. When his old slave trader criticizes him, he torments the slaves, pulls people off their horses, and crushes the leg of his former slave merchant, who already had a broken leg. He is skilled at fleeing, blowing peoples head off , and setting dynamite to blow up the home of the people who held his wife captive for so many years and tormented her, but he rarely emotes or connects to others in an emotional way, with the exception of his profound, unwavering love for his wife and his rage if anybody threatens her. He is patient and can wait for the right moment to strike, but he is also deadly and is prepared to give himself up to the authorities if it means protecting her.
