Not ENFP, but neither an ESTP, ESFP instead I feel like he gives some big and massive Se-Fi vibes, he doesnt do stuff just because he has the "random idea" as a Ne dom would do, but he either does it for the satisfaction of acomplishing something stupid at the moment, even when it would end up with him having 3 ass cheeks (this is actually cannon and its mentioned on Season 5 if im not wrong) Fi is obvious, so obvious that it could even be a dominant function but im not sure about it tho The main reason why i feel he is Se is because of the main difference he and Hal has, Hal, as an ENFP 8w7, takes quirky challenges for himself and also does random and stupid things just because of it, francis, instead, still takes challenges but because of the love and obsession of having them (same applied to having problems, this is also mentioned on season 5, when Lois tell him that he is obsessed with being in drama, this could be a Ne thing tho, or just caused because of his enneagram and tritype) I really cant get out of my mind the idea of Francis being an ESFP instead of an ENFP, but both sound kind of convincent also a very sexual person smh
Biography
The oldest of Hal and Lois' sons, Francis is a conniving delinquent who spends almost all of the series away from home - first at military school, then in Alaska, then at a Midwestern ranch. Episodes frequently split between Malcolm and whatever Francis is up to, making him a kind of star of a show-within-the-show. Similarly to Malcolm, Francis is quite smart and warm when he wants to be and even honorable up to a point, but is quite self-destructive and obsessed with one-upping his mother.
