What personality type is Peeta Mellark? Peeta Mellark is an ENFP personality type in MBTI, 2w3 - so/sx - 269 in Enneagram, SCOAI in Big 5, ESE in Socionics.
I really get why people thought he was a Fe dom, and ENFJ made sense for me for a while too, but I don't think he is. I'm not very good at giving arguments, but basically, I think his desire to help people comes from his high Fi. I never saw him care about any kind social harmony, unlike Finnick (who's not really that idealistic and determined to stay loyal to his values and changed his whole personality to survive). Peeta, on the other hand, is deeply moralistic, and doesn't want the games or capitol to change him. His selflessness seems more Fi-like. And you can't deny that this guy has very high Ne. I don't even think I need to explain why. I think he is Ne dom, because he doesn't seem inferior Te to me. The way he behaves on public and overall would seem more Ne-Te loop, rather than a Fi-Si loop, and I think he leads with his Ne, which is backed with his Fi morals and values, instead of Fi backed by Ne. Idk, I may be wrong. p.s. even if I had to type him as a Fe dom, I'd assume he's ESFJ, rather than ENFJ.
Biography
Peeta Mellark is the male tribute of District 12 alongside Katniss Everdeen. During the games, Peeta secretly tries to help Katniss and ensure their survival. In the movie adaptation, he is portrayed by Josh Hutcherson.
